We are a family-run business based in Borgue near Kirkcudbright in Dumfries and Galloway growing fruit and seasonal veg hydroponically and organically.

We’re not organically certified but we do adhere to organic principles. Our produce is grown with no artificial additives or pesticides and we use natural controls (lacewings and ladybirds native to the UK) to control pests. The hydroponic plants are fed a mixture of inorganic salts in rainwater collected from the roof of the kederhouse. The system re-circulates the fluids so we don't discard anything into the environment.

And most importantly, we pick the day we supply to ensure everything is as fresh as possible.

We care passionately about the quality of our food and our aim is to supply an affordable choice of top quality produce. There are hundreds(?) of varieties of tomatoes yet what we see in the supermakets tend to be the same old tomatoes. We hope we can convince you that other varieties are worth trying - there's  a tomato for every occasion!

Good morning to all our customers, we hope you're all safe and well during this horrible uncertainty.

With impeccable timing, we are now stockists of a range of Moorland Gold composts. These are peat based using peat sourced sustainably by filtering streams flowing from the Yorkshire moors.

As a result of the current situation regarding Coronavirus and the restrictions put in place by the government we are asking all of our customers to please refrain from visiting the farm.
